Qualification Overview
The Focus Awards Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF) is aimed at all individuals within the work environment.
The qualification will ensure all employees are practising correct health and safety practices, taking into consideration their own health and safety and that of others including customers, contractors, and members of the public.
Qualification Structure
Learners must achieve a total of 1 credit from the 1 mandatory unit.

There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification.
Progression Routes
Learners wishing to progress from this qualification can undertake the following qualification:
- Focus Awards Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF)
- Focus Awards Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)
- Focus Awards Level 1 Award in Health and Safety at Work (RQF)
Age Ranges
Entry is at the discretion of the centre; however, learners should be at least 16 years old to undertake this qualification.
Geographical Coverage
This qualification has been accredited for use in England and Northern Ireland.
