Qualification Overview

The aim of the Focus Awards Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) is to develop learners’ knowledge, understanding, and skills of paediatric first aid. The Focus Awards Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) is aimed at learners working in a Childcare setting and for those with responsibility for caring for infants and children. In achieving the Focus Awards Level 3 Award in Paediatric Emergency First Aid (RQF) all learners will cover essentials of assessing an emergency situation safely and administering first aid to an infant and child with various medical conditions.

In order to achieve the Focus Awards Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (RQF) learners must complete the two mandatory units.
