Qualification Overview

The Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma Specialist in Gym Instructing and Personal Training (RQF) qualification combines the knowledge and skills required to work as a Specialist Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer.  Learners will cover the basics of anatomy, planning and instructing gym and personal training sessions, circuit sessions, strength and conditioning, outdoor fitness, and exercise referral.

Qualification Structure

To achieve the Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma Specialist in Gym Instructing and Personal Training (RQF) qualification, learners must complete 22 units to achieve 93 credits.  A further 3 – 4 credits may be obtained through the completion of the optional units.

Learner Entry Requirmements

Focus Awards does not set any other entry requirements, but additional criteria may be requested or specified by the centre.

Entry is at the discretion of the centre; however, learners should be at least 16 years old to undertake this qualification.
