World Wellbeing Week

It’s World Wellbeing Week!

Wellbeing refers to a person’s social, physical and mental state and it has never been so important in life. This week gives us the chance to ask ourselves if we are doing everything we can to look after our mental, emotional and physical health. It is quite common to feel guilty about neglecting your own wellbeing. It’s easy to get sidetracked from looking after ourselves properly with busy day-to-day lives and unexpected stresses getting in the way. Many people are aware about the benefits of about incorporating fitness to maintain a great healthy work-life balance, but are perhaps struggling to know where to start.

Our new qualification, the ‘Level 5 Certificate in Coaching for Health and Wellbeing’, is perfect for centres who want to offer learners the opportunity to specialise in coaching and create enthusiasm for physical activity having a positive impact upon a person’s wellbeing.

This is the perfect time to get into coaching for health and wellbeing, with the new qualification launching on the 1st July 2024. During this qualification, Learners will be able to:

  • Develop knowledge and understanding of mental health and trauma awareness in coaching. This means learning to respect any boundaries someone may have and in addition, meet the needs of clients.
  • Develop the learner’s knowledge and understanding of industry requirements for coaching. This means learners will behave in a professional manner and execute successful coaching sessions for clients.
  • Develop learners’ knowledge and understanding of physical health and wellbeing. This can expand learners’ comprehension of physical activity having a positive impact on a client’s wellbeing and overall health.

Learning new skills can even improve mental wellbeing by raising confidence levels and giving someone a sense of purpose and fulfilment. Focus Awards can help your learners achieve this!
