Qualification Overview

The Focus Awards Level 1 Certificate in Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children’s and Young People’s Settings (RQF) is aimed at learners who are considering a career in the health and social care setting working with children and young people. The qualification provides the knowledge and understanding needed to work in Health, Social Care and Children’s and Young People’s sectors.

Qualification Structure

Learners must complete all mandatory units to achieve 20 credits, and must complete a minimum of 5 credits from a number of optional units.

There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification. Focus Awards does not set any other entry requirements but training providers or colleges may have their own guidelines.
