Qualification Overview
The Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma in Make-Up Artistry (RQF) is aimed at those learners looking to progress into a career as a professional make-up artist.
The Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma in Make-Up Artistry (RQF) will provide learners with the knowledge, skills, and understanding required to successfully achieve the qualification. The qualification includes applying small, ready-made prosthetic pieces, camouflage make-up, airbrush make-up, and styling and fitting head and facial postiche (wigs and hairpieces).
Qualification Structure
To successfully achieve the Focus Awards Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Make-Up Artistry (RQF) learners must complete all 47 credits from the mandatory units and 3 credits from the optional units totalling 50 credits.
Learner Entry Requirements
A learner must have previously completed a Level 2 qualification in beauty therapy, other than this Focus Awards do not set any other entry requirements for the qualification; however, other requirements may be required by the centre.

Age Ranges
Entry is at the discretion of the centre; however, learners should be at least 16 years old to undertake this qualification.
Please note that 16 to 18 year-olds may need to be supervised in the workplace, once they have achieved the qualification
