Qualification Overview
The Focus Awards Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education and School Sport (RQF) is aimed at those learners who currently work, or wish to work, in a physical education and school sport setting.
The purpose of the Focus Awards Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education and Schools Sport (RQF) is to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding of delivering physical education and sporting programmes with in schools. The qualification prepares learners for employment within a school sports environment, and covers communication and professional relationships, understanding child and young persons’ development, safeguarding, planning, delivery, and reviewing of Physical Education and School Sport Programme.
Qualification Structure
To successfully achieve the Focus Awards Level NVQ 3 Diploma in Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education and School Sport (RQF) learners must complete 12 mandatory units achieving a total of 54 credits.

Learners wishing to progress from this qualification can undertake the following qualification:

Entry is at the discretion of the centre; however, learners should be a minimum of 16 years old to undertake the qualification.
