The aim of the Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma in Coaching Weightlifting (RQF) is to provide learners with the key knowledge and skills required to plan, coach, and monitor weightlifting activities.

 

Qualification Structure

To successfully achieve the Focus Awards Level 3 Diploma in Coaching Weightlifting (RQF) learners must complete 11 mandatory units achieving a total of 47 credits.

 

Learner entry requirements

Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Weightlifting (RQF) or a British Weight Lifting recognised equivalent.

 

Progression routes

Learners seeking progress from this qualification can advance their skills further through the following:

  • Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training (RQF)
  • Any other Level 3 qualification in the Health and Fitness industry

 

Age Ranges

Entry is at the discretion of the centre. However, learners should be aged 18 to undertake this qualification.
