Qualification Overview
The aim of the Focus Awards Level 3 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis (RQF) is to develop learners’ knowledge, understanding, and skills in providing basic life support and management of anaphylaxis in emergency situations.
Qualification Structure
In order to achieve the Focus Awards Level 3 Award in Basic Life Support and Management of Anaphylaxis (RQF) learners must complete 1 mandatory unit.
Learner Entry Requirements
This qualification requires learners to demonstrate first aid procedures as part of their assessment, as they would in a real environment, including administering CPR to a casualty on the floor. Learners must, therefore, be physically capable of performing CPR on the floor. Focus Awards does not set any other entry requirements, but additional criteria may be requested or specified by the centre

Age Ranges
Entry is at the discretion of the centre. However, learners should be aged at least 16 to undertake this qualification.
