To successfully achieve the Focus Awards Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Safeguarding and Prevent (RQF) learners must complete 4 mandatory units.

Focus Awards does not set any other entry requirements, but additional criteria may be requested or specified by the centre.
Progression Routes
Learners seeking progress from this qualification can advance their skills further through the
following:
• Level 3 Award in Education and Training (RQF)
• Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning (RQF)
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)
• Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (RQF)
• Higher level qualifications in Education, Health and Social Care, Social Work,
Childhood Studies, Youth Work or Criminology.
Age Ranges
Entry is at the discretion of the centre. However, learners should be at least 16 to undertake this qualification.
