Qualification Overview
The Focus Awards Level 3 Certificate in Working in the Health Sector (RQF) qualification is intended to meet the core requirements for all staff working in the NHS. The Focus Awards Level 3 Certificate in Working in the Health Sector (RQF) forms the basis of the NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework specifically the 6 KSF Care Dimensions that all new NHS staff need to complete, including:
- Communication;
- Health, safety and security;
- Service improvement;
- Equality and diversity;
- Quality;
- Personal and people development.
The purpose of this qualification is to assess the development of knowledge surrounding working in the Health Sector.
Qualification Structure
In order to successfully achieve this qualification, learners must achieve a total of 18 credits from six mandatory units.

Entry is at the discretion of the centre; however, learners must be at least 16 old to undertake this qualification.
