Qualification Overview
The aim of the Focus Awards Level 2 Award in Delivering Physical Activity and Sport to Children and Young People (RQF) is to provide learners with the knowledge, understanding, and skills required to work with children at different developmental stages to improve fitness. The qualification will provide learners with the ability to develop and deliver effective sessions in a safe environment to support the stages of a child and young person’s development.
Qualification Structure
To successfully achieve the Focus Awards Level 2 Award in Delivering Physical Activity and Sport to Children and Young People (RQF) learners must complete one mandatory unit to achieve 4 credits.
Learner Entry Requirements
Learners must hold a Level 2 fitness instructing qualification. Learners must have completed safeguarding training prior to commencing the qualification

Entry is at the discretion of the centre; however, learners should be at least 16 to undertake this qualification.
