Leah joined us with a very strong background in customer service, and a real desire to make a difference, having trained and qualified for an Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care – a key knowledge base and useful skillset in any customer facing position, but particularly relevant to one of Focus Awards’ strongest business sectors. She is naturally cheerful, empathetic, articulate, and is at her best when the people she deals with remain satisfied and happy with the service they receive. Leah is a great team worker and is always prepared to go the extra mile to support both colleagues and customers. She prides herself on having great listening skills and is consequently an excellent communicator. Her primary function is to help new centres and businesses join Focus Awards’ customer base of Approved Centres with the minimum of fuss, experiencing as little friction as possible during the process. Leah handles general customer service and support issues. She deals with enrolments, signs up new centres, conducts regular quality assurance calls, facilitates documentary compliance checks and requirements, and coordinate EQA visits.
