Read on to find out why pursuing a career within the sector and working with children can be highly fulfilling.

A job within this sector can really make a difference and have a positive impact on a child’s life! A potential job role as an early years practitioner will work with young children to gain confidence and support with their learning by working with parents and carers. The role will play an important part in ensuring children grow and learn within a safe and nurturing space. This will be highly rewarding as children are shaped by their early experiences, so an occupation which lays the foundations for their development is extremely important.

The skills you gain by training and working in the Health and Social Care sector, set learners up for a successful career for life. They will learn and apply vital skills such as patience, resilience and empathy. Working in Health and Social care can be challenging in ways that may not be for everyone, but it can also be very rewarding. Learners will develop the ability to show patience and earn trust from families and children. They will also be able to show an empathetic approach, rather than a judgmental one which is essential in dealing with sensitive issues, difficult topics and for gaining trust.
