Qualification Overview

The Focus Awards Level 3 Award in Modifying Physical Activity for Adolescents (RQF) is designed for those who are involved in working with young people in a physical activity environment.

The qualification will enable learners to instruct exercise and physical activity for children, motivating, preparing, and reflecting on health related exercise/physical activity of children.  Learners will also develop an understanding of what information is needed when planning a safe and effective exercise/physical activity for children.

 

Qualification Structure

To successfully complete the Focus Awards Level 3 Award in Modifying Physical Activity for Adolescents (RQF) learners must complete 3 mandatory units, to achieve 4 credits.

 

Learner Entry Requirements

Focus Awards does not set any other entry requirements, but additional criteria may be requested or specified by the centre.

Entry is at the discretion of the centre; however, learners should be at least 16 years of age to undertake the qualification.
