It has been a challenging and tough year for everyone from all walks of life and across the world.
We’ve been in a national lockdown, not once, but twice.
We’ve lost loved ones in a way which we would have never thought.
We stood on our doorsteps, clapped, cheered, banged pots and pans and made as much noise as possible to support our amazing NHS.
We have conversations with our neighbours.
We built stronger communities, millions of people volunteered and shopped for others.
We united through, Social media, Quizzes, Dancing and Tiger King (dare I say… Carol Baskin… don’t sing it!).
We spent time together as families.
We studied, learnt new skills, and gained knowledge.
We caught up on much-needed sleep and took time to rest without feeling guilty.
We turned out living rooms, kitchens and dining rooms into offices.
We became Crafters, Bakers, Gardeners and Decorators. We got those jobs done; we’d been putting off for a while.
Most of all we came together as one.
At Focus Awards we believe that Christmas is a time for Celebrating togetherness, peace and joy with our loved ones, colleagues and friends from around the world. Although this year it may be by video calls and social media, we still want to allow staff time to celebrate their own meaning of Christmas. Our office will be closed from Friday 5 pm 18th December 2020 and will re-open at 9 am Monday 4th January 2021.
If you do have anything you need to speak to us about during this time, please send an email to your support assistant or info@focusawards.org.uk and our team will do their best to assist you, as soon as they can.
From all of the team at Focus Awards,
We’d like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
“In the new year, you carry all the experiences of the past years and that’s the greatest power of every New Year! This year again you are less a student and more a master!”
