Qualification Overview
The aim of the Focus Awards Level 3 Award in First Aid for Mental Health is to develop knowledge and understanding of mental health and a range of mental health issues. Learners will be able to develop and implement a first aid action plan for mental health.
Qualification Structure
To successfully achieve the Focus Awards Level 3 Award in First Aid for Mental Health (RQF) learners must complete the 1 mandatory unit.
Learner Entry Requirments
Focus Awards does not set any other entry requirements, but additional criteria may be requested or specified by the centre.
Progression Routes
Learners seeking progress from this qualification can advance their skills further through the following:
- Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)
- Level 4 Certificate in Delivering Physical Activity for Individuals with Mental Health Conditions (RQF)
Age Ranges
Entry is at the discretion of the centre. However, learners should be at least 18 to undertake this qualification.
